Swap #1 of 2008: Done

I finished this swap and I am so excited! I LOVE doing sketch swaps.

It pays off in the end...can't wait till I get the pages back from the Crop - a- latte Ladies!

48 FABULOUS pages...They don't count for my LO total...until I have pictures and journaling...but I know they will ROCK!

Whoo--hooo!

Money Shot!

Every once in a while I take a picture that is worth all the money in the world. I got one of these shots the other day of C. We were at Disneyland and he was obviously enjoying the Teacup ride!

Makes me just want kiss that Toothless face!!!!

The other shot is of K. This was her 1st time on the Materhorn. She rode by HERSELF in the front! Such a big girl.

While in Atlanta last summer, we visited the MLK Birthplace, Museum and Ebenezer Baptist Church. It was a moving experince for me. I saw a 10 year old boy sitting in the "back of the bus" having no clue what it used to mean as well as 80 year old women weeping at the sight of the wagon that carried his body. It was hard not to cry while there.

It was neat to share this LO with my 4th grade students this week!

I have slowed down on my page production this last few weeks 'cause I have been "rocking the swaps" . I have one more swap group to do and I will get back to finishing some LO's.

Crop Away: Thanks Gloria for this Swap LO!

It's All Good:
Paper: CTMH Cocoa Cafe
Lettering: Cricut Alphalicous, CTMH Extreme Caps
Journaling: Nothing can prepare you for this. Vandals broke into David's classroom and destroyed it. Stealing over $10,000 in computer equipment was not enough. They took our personal videos. Then as they left, the sprayed the room with the fire extinguisher. What a mess. Anger and frustration were soon erased by the outpouring of love from the Peppertree Family. Hugs and offers to help overwheled us. Throughout this entire extperience we wer brought to tears as the love over came. In the end the vandals were quickly arrested and most of the stolen equipment returned ( videos included). LOVE won!

Journaling #1: Sylvia "helped" C. lose that stubborn tooth...LOVE his expression in this photo. This moment would have tickeled Dad.
