September Artiste Blog Hog: Here for the Boos

  • Welcome to our September ARTISTE Blog Hop!  Each month we are showcasing the amazing, exclusive ARTISTE Cricut cartridge which can be only purchased through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant.

We don't want to scare you but Halloween is a little over a month away and we know you have to be thinking about what YOU are going to create for this spooky holiday! We decided to show you all the creative projects you can make using our exclusive Artiste Cricut cartridge. You will be hopping along our haunted trail of creativity - you never know what you will see next!

If you just happened to come to this blog, you should start at the beginning at Lucy's blog - http://www.love2createitall.com.

Also, to help you get ready to start making your own Halloween projects Lucy has some blog candy for you! She is giving away a Moonlight Complements Dimensional Elements pack!  That's two (2) sheets of Printed Dimensional Elements that you can use to create your own Halloween project! There is a picture of the blog candy on her blog. All you have to do to be eligible to win is to leave a comment on everyone's blog AND become a follower of Lucy's blog.  (If you are already a follower, just let her know in your comment.)

My project is an altered wine carrier.

I will be the first to admit that I know very little about wine.  In fact, I chose this wine simply because the orange lids were PERFECT for CTMH's Moonlight paper.

The wine bottle wraps are cut at 2 inches from the cut found on
    Page 78  Card <shift>

The sentiments came for a stamp set called Perfect Fit Halloween and were stamped on Page 33 Accent 3 <no shift>  cut at 1.5 inches

     Close up...

I create this embellishement using the same cut found on page 33 .  The black layer was cut at 3 inches while the B&T was cut at 2.75 inches

The sticker are called Glamour Glitter Alphabet  and the ghost is from the Creepy Critters stamp set.

The next stop on the haunted trail is Wendy Kessler's Blog: My Scrapbooking Blog.

  4. How cute! We moved and got boxes from the liquor store and one of the boxes had a bunch of these cartons in it, so I kept them just knowing there was something I could do with them! Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. Hahaha! That is totally cute! I wish I had a reason to make one! I don't drink myself but it'd be fun to take to a Halloween party. Maybe I can alter a 4pk of Starbucks coffee for a Halloween treat! Thanks for the inspiration!

  11. Love this! I just discovered these little wine 4 packs this past weekend. I was spending the night out of town for a CKC convention and invited my sis to spend the night with me for a little girl's night and we bought a pack to enjoy with a movie. Not bad wine for a screw top.
